You have a lovely collection of plants and I admire your devotion to orchids. I buy them for inside my house every few months, but would love to try to cultivate them indoors during the winter.

Your blog is beautiful! I really like the tulips. <BR/>Youre plants are very exotic for us in Norway, and some of them are sold as indoorplants. Funny. <BR/>Orchids are nice, but some of them quite challenging. I have one phaleonopsis, that has kept on blooming for 3 year now! All the others just die. The closing up of the leaves on the last photo sounds like a "prayer plant" but the one I've seen here has a deeper burgundy color on the underside of the leaves. The leaves come together like hands that are praying! I really like the plant with the white spots! Very different!

My mother grew orchids in Australia where I grew up, but I haven't tried one yet. Someday I will!<BR/>The other plant is very unique. I like it! I've never seen one like it before, so I can't help you with the name.<BR/>Thanks for sharing the photos :)
